Where in the world? All over the world, people live in diverse regions, and climates with different animals, plants, and interesting nuances. As I have traveled the world working with teachers and students, I have tried to bring experiences back to my own classes. Below you'll find short videos where you will get 5 clues to guess a location, animal, or person. Some videos were created by me as I traveled. Others were submitted to me by teachers and children from around the globe. Your mission is to do research and figure out the answer to each challenge in as few clues as possible. Have fun!

How to Play
Participating in the 5 clue challenge is really easy.
If you are playing, simply pick a video and play it for your students. After each clue, pause the video so that students can do a little research. After the research, have each student take a guess. At the end of the fifth clue, students can see how quickly they got the correct answer. The larger our collection of videos grows, the more opportunity you'll have to expose your students to the world.
The real power in the 5 Clue Challenge is when your students create their own videos. We know that students remember content better when they teach it. When creating a video, try to start with more vague, general clues. After the first clue, there should be lots of possibilities. Each clue should narrow down the possible choices for the viewer. By the fifth clue, the answer should be obvious to anyone who has done a little research. Please check the guidelines for submission by clicking on the button below.
