Scranton Times-Tribune - Michael Soskil unpacked the boxes of water filters in a Kenyan slum and set up a laptop and Internet connection.More than 7,000 miles away, the Wallenpaupack Area teacher’s students waited for his video call.

Mr. Soskil, 37, taught fifth grade at Wallenpau­pack South Elementary School up until this school year. He is now a curriculum support coach, working with teachers across the Wallenpaupack Area School District to implement technology and innovation in their classrooms.
